Job summary

R+L Carriers is hiring a Class A Linehaul Driver at our Ceres, CA Service Center. The position offers an hourly rate of $32.12 and daily home time. PTO starts after 90 calendar days, with a comprehensive benefits package and access to employee resorts.

As a Linehaul Driver, you will haul van or double trailers between service centers and turn-points, returning home daily. Must meet DOT, MVR/PSP standards and pass road test, physical, and drug screen.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A required.
• 1 year combined verifiable Class A driving experience within past 3 years.
• Good driving record / MVR and PSP, with no commercial serious violations and no more than 3 moving violations in past 3 years.
• Age 23, 21 if FMCSA military transition.
• Able to operate equipment safely at all times.
• Able to pass pre-employment DOT physical and drug screen.
• Able to complete a road test.
• Able to bend, lift and stoop.

Responsibilities

• Operate Class A linehaul: pull van or double trailers up to 53’ between service centers and turn-points.
• Return home daily as part of schedule.

R+L Carriers has immediate opportunities for Class A Linehaul Drivers at our Ceres CA Service Center. As a Linehaul Driver, you will be tasked with pulling van trailers up to 53’ or double trailers between our service centers and/or turn-point locations, and returning home daily.

Requirements

• CDL Class A
• 1 yr. combined verifiable Class A driving experience within the past 3 years
• Good driving record / MVR and PSP, with no commercial serious violations and no more than 3 moving violations total within the past 3 years.
• Age 23, 21 if successfully met the FMCSA specs to transition from military to civilian CDL
• Must be able to operate equipment safely at all times
• Must be able to pass pre-employment DOT Physical and drug screen
• Must be able to complete a successful road test
• M ust be able to bend, lift and stoop without difficulty
• Must be dependable

Preferred

• Drivers with Doubles/Triples, Tanker, and Haz-mat CDL endorsements
• Experienced hauling Haz-mat
• Experienced pulling doubles
• Any LTL freight experience
