Job summary

NIS EXPRESS in Hesperia, CA is hiring CDL-A drivers for west-of-Mississippi routes, with most trips under three days. Expect to be home every 2 weeks and to help train new CDL holders.

Compensation includes $1,000–$1,200 weekly gross, $1,000 guaranteed for 3 months after solo dispatch, and bonuses up to 0.06 per mile plus $15 per stop. Home time, miles, and benefits are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid Class A CDL.
• New CDL-A holders welcome to apply.
• 6 months OTR in the last 12 months, or 12+ months in the past 5 years.
• Military experience considered with a valid DD214.
• Valid license in your state of residence and verifiable work history for 3 years.
• No more than 2 moving violations in 2 years, no major preventable accidents in 5 years, no DUI/DWI in 5–10 years.
• Must pass hair and urine drug testing.

High Desert drivers in Hesperia: this Western fleet keeps you west of the Mississippi, keeps most runs to 3 days or less, and trains new CDL holders on real freight.

Pay Breakdown

• $1,000 to $1,200 average weekly gross
• $1,000 weekly guaranteed pay for your first 3 months after solo dispatch
• Up to 6 cents per mile extra through the performance bonus
• $15 per stop (first and last stop excluded)
• 1,800 to 2,200 miles per week

How the Job Runs

• Home every 2 weeks
• Stays west of the Mississippi, with the option to run further if you want more miles
• Day and night dispatches, some winter driving in the mountains
• Holidays off can be worked out with your driver leader when possible

New to the Road?

• New CDL-A holders are welcome to apply
• 4 to 6 weeks over the road with an experienced trainer
• Guaranteed weekly training pay, then straight to full solo driver pay
• Must have completed at least 120 hours at an accredited CDL school
