American Driver LLC is hiring solo CDL-A truck drivers to run west of the Mississippi from Desert Hot Springs, with home time every two weeks. Training is available for new CDL graduates with paid instruction, or experienced drivers can start solo after orientation.
New graduates earn $850 per week during training, then a $1,000 weekly pay guarantee for the first 3 months solo. Experienced drivers are paid mileage based on verifiable experience, with no training period.
Most dry van jobs out of the desert send you east for weeks. This one keeps you close. Runs normally last no more than three days, freight stays west of the Mississippi, and you are home every two weeks. Drivers from Desert Hot Springs and the Coachella Valley can start here two ways: as a new CDL graduate with paid training, or as an experienced driver ready to run solo.
Solo drivers average $1,000 to $1,200 a week on 1,800 to 2,200 miles. A qualified-driver bonus adds up to six cents a mile. Every stop except the first and last pays $15. When a load needs unload help, such as a pallet jack, liftgate or assist, that work is paid on top.
Any state west of the Mississippi. Most loads turn in three days or less, so you pass near home often. If you want bigger miles, you can ask for runs past the Mississippi. Expect some winter driving in the mountain states.
Medical, prescription, dental and vision plans you build to fit your family. A 401(k), stock purchase plan, life and disability coverage, and a tuition-free online degree for you and one dependent.
Paid orientation is $300 and takes two days or less.
Equal Opportunity Employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability or veteran status.
