Job summary

Qualifications

• CDL Class A with double/triple endorsements; hazmat and tanker endorsements preferred.
• Minimum one year of relevant driving experience or completion of FedEx Freight Driver Development Course.
• Must meet MVR and DOT regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor-trailer combinations, including doubles/triples where allowed.
• Perform daily pre-trip inspections and safety checks on equipment.
• Hook/unhook trailers and move freight using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
• Secure freight inside trailers and manage documentation.
• Communicate with dispatch, customers, and sales for pickups, deliveries, and opportunities.
• Adhere to DOT regulations and company policies; assist with road duties as needed.
