Job summary

NIS EXPRESS is seeking drivers for Michigan-based routes, with outbound trips starting in Romulus, Brownstown and New Boston. New CDL holders train at $900 a week, and the average weekly gross ranges from $1,200 to $1,500. A guaranteed $1,000 per week is offered for the first 3 months solo.

Expect 1,500–2,100 miles per week, stop pay of $15 per stop, and a performance bonus. Benefits include health, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO, and orientation pay with travel covered.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL, at least 21.
• New drivers: 120+ hours at an accredited CDL school.
• Experienced: 6 months OTR in the last 12 months, or 12+ months in the past 5 years.
• No major preventable accidents in 5 years; no DUI/DWI in 5–10 years.
• Pass hair and urine drug testing.

Responsibilities

• Outbound from Michigan, then back to Michigan for the next load.
• Home every 2 weeks for a full reset.
• Drop and hook, preloads, live loads and live unloads.
• Day and night dispatches, holidays as customers need.

Downriver drivers, this fleet's freight starts right here in Romulus, Brownstown and New Boston. Your first load goes out of Michigan, and dispatch works you back toward home for the next one. New CDL holders train at $900 a week.

Pay

• $1,200 to $1,500 average weekly gross
• 1,500 to 2,100 miles a week

• $1,000 a week guaranteed for your first 3 months solo

How It Runs

Training for New Drivers

• 4 to 6 weeks with an experienced trainer
• $900 a week training pay
• Full solo pay right after
