Job summary

UIC Government Services and the Bowhead Family of Companies seeks a Transportation Site Supervisor at Fort Jackson, SC to oversee daily transportation operations and supervise CDL A drivers. The role supports contract compliance and safety.

Responsibilities include directing transportation personnel, maintaining driver qualification records, and coordinating with maintenance to keep vehicles ready. The position requires knowledge of DTS/TRAMS and the ability to obtain required clearances.

Qualifications

• Must have knowledge of governing regulations, policies, procedures, and instructions for transportation operations.
• Pass a stringent Federal background investigation and pre-employment drug screening.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise CDL A drivers and transportation personnel to ensure safe, efficient operations.
• Maintain documentation of driver qualifications, inspections, and safety incidents.
• Coordinate with maintenance and customer requirements to meet program needs.
• Attend meetings and adapt to changing operational needs.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and contract requirements.
