Job summary

Cleland Site Prep in the Low Country of South Carolina seeks a CDL Driver to operate tractor-trailer combinations and support loading/unloading per DOT guidelines. The role requires maintaining logs and inspecting vehicles, while ensuring safe cargo handling and timely deliveries.

We require a CDL‑A or CDL‑B license and a high school diploma or GED. You will work with a team, follow safety policies, and contribute to a reliable, efficient fleet operation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• A valid State CDL‑B or CDL‑A license.
• Minimum of three (3) years previous related experience in construction field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily pre/post trip inspections with documentation per DOT guidelines.
• Obey applicable laws and follow dispatch instructions.
• Maneuver trucks into loading/unloading positions and verify proper loading.
• Keep truck clean and orderly; control and report vehicle status.
• Drive trucks to transport and deliver products, equipment or materials.
• Secure cargo using ropes, blocks, chains, binders or covers.
