XPO is seeking a Truck Driver Student in Goodlettsville, TN to begin CDL-A training and gain on-the-job experience as an LTL driver. You’ll complete inspections, maintain records, and handle freight documentation under supervision in a safety-focused, fast-paced setting.

Qualifikationen

• Be at least 21 years old.
• 1 year of related experience.
• Hold a valid state-issued driver’s license for a minimum of 12 months.
• Attain a CDL-A permit by the first day of class and endorsements within 90 days: double/triple trailers, tanker and HAZMAT.
• Initiate TSA fingerprint-based background check by second week of class.
• Safe driving record and history.
• Pass a DOT drug test with no positive tests in last 3 years.
• Pass a company-paid DOT physical and pre-hire test.
• Available to work days, evenings, nights and weekends.

Aufgaben

• Attend training sessions to obtain a CDL-A.
• Gain on-the-job experience as an LTL Driver.
• Perform FMCSR-required vehicle inspections.
• Maintain records per FMCSR, DOT and company policies.
• Load/unload freight using a forklift as needed.
• Verify and complete required documentation and reports.
• Adhere to safety policies.
• Maintain contact with service center personnel in a fast-paced environment.
