Job summary

NIS EXPRESS on the Central Coast offers trucking jobs with short runs, typically 2 days or less, and home every two weeks. Training includes on-road instruction with a driver trainer for 4–6 weeks at $680 per week, followed by a guaranteed $1,000 per week for 3 months after solo dispatch.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL and at least 21 years old.
• New drivers: 120+ hours at an accredited CDL school.
• Experienced drivers: 6 months OTR in the last 12 months, or 12+ months in the last 5 years.
• Clean record: max 2 moving violations in 2 years, no major preventable accidents in 5 years.
• Pass hair and urine drug testing.

Training

Where You Run

• 11 western states, dry van freight
• Short runs, usually 2 days or less
• Home every two weeks

Pay

• $1,000 to $1,500 average weekly gross
• Mileage pay scale that grows with experience
• Up to 6 cents per mile performance bonus
