Job summary

Memphis area hub operations lead to Millington drivers starting from a strong freight network. Training pay is generous and home time is achieved roughly every two weeks as you progress to solo runs.

Expect 1,800–2,000 miles weekly, with $850/week during mentor training and $1,000/week guaranteed in the first 3 months solo, plus higher average pay as you gain experience.

Qualifications

• 21+, valid Class A CDL, 120+ hours of CDL school
• Trainees welcome. Experienced: 6 months in the last 12 or 12 months in the last 5 years
• DD214 considered for military drivers
• No more than 2 moving violations in 2 years, nothing serious in 12 months
• No major preventable accidents in 5 years, no DUI/DWI in 5 to 10 years
• Hair and urine drug test, 3 years verifiable work history

Responsibilities

• Operate refrigerated freight on steady lanes with home time about every two weeks
• Deliver and pick up freight in various lanes across Texas, Tennessee, Illinois and Georgia

Memphis is one of this reefer fleet's hubs, which puts Millington drivers right where the freight starts. Training pays $850 a week, and once you're solo you're running steady lanes with home time about every two weeks.

Where You'd Be Running

• Texas to Tennessee, Texas to Illinois, Texas to Georgia
• Refrigerated freight, the same lanes week after week
• Mix of drop and hook and live loads

What It Pays

• $850 a week during 4 to 6 weeks of mentor training
• $1,000 a week guaranteed for your first 3 months solo
• Average weekly pay $1,300 to $1,500
• $25 for every extra stop
• 1,800 to 2,000 miles most weeks

Home Time

• About every two weeks, depending on where you live and what's moving
