Job summary

NIS EXPRESS is seeking drivers for long-haul refrigerated freight across key lanes such as Texas, Tennessee, Illinois, and Georgia. Trainees receive $850 per week during training plus $300 orientation pay, with a mentor for 4 to 6 weeks.

After going solo, drivers get a $1,000 weekly guarantee for 3 months and typically earn $1,300–$1,500 weekly, with $25 stop pay and 1,800–2,000 miles per week. Home time about every two weeks.

Qualifications

• Must have valid Class A CDL and at least 120 hours CDL training.
• New drivers welcomed; experienced: 6 months in last 12 or 12 months in last 5 years.
• DD214 accepted.

Responsibilities

• Operate refrigerated freight with drop and hook and live loads.
• Maintain safety and timely delivery within lanes Texas to Tennessee, Illinois and Georgia.

Job description

Corinth is about an hour and a half from Memphis, one of the main hubs for this reefer fleet. That means real freight and real miles for a brand new driver, and home time about every two weeks.

First Things First

• $850 a week in training, one of the higher training rates out there

When You Go Solo

• $1,000 weekly guarantee for your first 3 months
• Average weekly pay $1,300 to $1,500

The Lanes

What You Need

• 21+, valid Class A CDL, at least 120 hours CDL training
• New drivers welcome. Experienced: 6 months in the last 12 or 12 months in the last 5 years
• DD214 accepted
• Max 2 moving violations in 2 years, nothing serious in 12 months
• No major preventable accidents in 5 years, no DUI/DWI in 5 to 10 years
• Hair and urine drug testing, 3 years verifiable work history
