Job summary

NIS EXPRESS in Forrest City, AR is hiring new CDL drivers for refrigerated freight lanes across the South and Midwest. Trainees receive pay while training and progress to solo operations after completion.

You'll run set lanes, about 1,800–2,000 miles per week, with home every two weeks depending on location. Paid orientation and bonuses are included; benefits begin after 30 days.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL and at least 21 years old.
• New drivers: 120+ hours at an accredited CDL school.
• Experienced drivers: 6 months OTR in the last 12 months, or 12+ months in the last 5 years.
• Clean record: max 2 moving violations in 2 years, no major preventable accidents in 5 years.
• Pass hair and urine drug testing.

Job description

Forrest City is under an hour from Memphis, one of the biggest freight hubs in the country. This reefer fleet hires new CDL holders right here, trains them with pay, and runs set refrigerated lanes through the South and Midwest.

Paid Training

• Training with an experienced driver trainer, 4 to 6 weeks on the road
• $650 a week during training
• Solo truck after sign off
• $1,000 a week guaranteed for 3 months after your first solo dispatch

Refrigerated Freight

• Set lanes through Texas, Tennessee, Illinois and Georgia
• About 1,800 to 2,000 miles a week
• Home every two weeks, depending on location
• Some live loads and live unloads

Paycheck

• $1,300 to $1,500 average weekly gross
• Sliding pay scale
• $25 stop pay plus performance bonus
