Job summary

R+L Carriers is seeking a Team Driver to haul van and double trailers between service centers. Teams stay on the road for 5 days and are home for 2 days each week.

You will operate 53’ trailers or doubles, require a CDL Class A, and maintain a clean driving record. The role emphasizes safety, compliance, and on-time freight delivery across our network. Qualifications

• CDL Class A with at least 1 year of recent driving experience.
• Valid MVR/PSP with no major violations and limited moving violations.
• Age 23 (21 with FMCSA transition from military to civilian CDL).
• Able to pass pre-employment DOT physical and drug screen.
• Able to complete a successful road test.

Responsibilities

• Pull van trailers up to 53’ or double trailers between service centers/turn points.
• Team driving with on-road schedule of 5 days out, 2 days home weekly.

Job description

As a Team Driver, you will be tasked with pulling van trailers up to 53’ or double trailers between our service centers and/or turn-point locations. All our teams are on the road for 5 days and home for 2 days every week.

Requirements

• CDL Class A
• 1 yr. combined verifiable Class A driving experience within the past 3 years
• Good driving record / MVR and PSP, with no commercial serious violations and no more than 3 moving violations total within the past 3 years.
• Age 23, 21 if successfully met the FMCSA specs to transition from military to civilian CDL
• Must be able to operate equipment safely at all times
• Must be able to pass pre-employment DOT Physical and drug screen
• Must be able to complete a successful road test
• Must be able to bend, lift and stoop without difficulty
• Must be dependable

Preferred

• Drivers with Doubles/Triples, Tanker, and Haz-mat CDL endorsements
• Experienced hauling Haz-mat
• Experienced pulling doubles
• Any LTL freight experience
