Job summary

R+L Carriers is hiring CDL A Team Truck Drivers to move trailers between service centers and turn-points. Teams run five days on and two days home each week, with opportunities for dedicated runs and weekly home time.

PTO after 90 days and a robust benefits package accompany competitive compensation. Applicants should have a CDL Class A, at least one year of verifiable driving in the last three years, a clean driving record, and be able to pass a DOT physical and drug screen.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A required and valid.
• At least 1 year of verifiable Class A driving in the past 3 years.
• Clean driving record with MVR/PSP; no serious violations.
• Must be 23 years old (21 if FMCSA military transition).
• Must pass pre-employment DOT physical and drug screen.
• Able to complete a road test and handle lifting.
• Reliable and able to work in teams on the road schedule.

Responsibilities

• Move trailers between Service Centers and turn-point locations.
• Operate with teams on a 5 days on / 2 days home weekly schedule.

R+L Carriers has immediate opportunities for CDL A Team Truck Drivers. These full-time opportunities will be responsible for the movement of trailers between Service Centers and/or turn-point locations. All our teams are on the road for 5 days and home for 2 days every week.

Requirements / Qualifications

• CDL Class A
• 1 yr. combined verifiable Class A driving experience within the past 3 years
• Good driving record / MVR and PSP, with no commercial serious violations and no more than 3 moving violations total within the past 3 years.
• Age 23, 21 if successfully met the FMCSA specs to transition from military to civilian CDL
• Must be able to operate equipment safely at all times
• Must be able to pass pre-employment DOT Physical and drug screen
• Must be able to complete a successful road test
• Must be able to bend, lift and stoop without difficulty
• Must be dependable

Preferred

• Drivers with Doubles/Triples, Tanker, and Haz-mat CDL endorsements
• Experienced hauling Haz-mat
• Experienced pulling doubles
• Any LTL freight experience
