Rogers Group, Inc. is hiring a Class A CDL Driver with Tanker Endorsement for the Knoxville road construction crew. This role involves operating a tack truck, supporting asphalt paving operations, and performing manual labor outdoors in varied weather.

Candidates should have a valid CDL A, knowledge of DOT regulations, and experience in road construction or heavy civil work; ability to work as part of a crew is essential.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required and DOT regulations knowledge.
• Experience in asphalt paving, road construction, or heavy civil work preferred.
• Experience operating tack or service trucks preferred.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a crew.
• Strong work ethic and dependability.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a tack truck in support of asphalt paving operations.
• Apply asphalt emulsions per project specs and standards.
• Conduct pre-trip, post-trip, and daily vehicle inspections.
• Operate a service truck to fuel, lubricate, and support equipment.
• Maintain vehicle inspection and DOT compliance records.
• Assist paving crews with asphalt placement, raking, shoveling, and general labor.
• Help set up work zones, traffic control devices, and safety measures.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of vehicles and equipment.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, operators, and crew members.
• Follow company safety policies and project requirements.
• Assist with additional construction and maintenance activities as assigned.
