Job summary

US Foods Groveland, FL is seeking Shuttle Truck Drivers to operate tractor-trailers between distribution centers and shuttle yards. Schedule: Sun–Thu, 4pm–6pm until completion. Pay: $27/hr plus incentive pay; benefits start day one.

You will be responsible for transporting trailers, performing safety checks and logging time electronically, with a base expected annual compensation between $60,000 and $80,000 depending on experience and location.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must possess CDL A with required endorsements and DOT qualification.
• Minimum six months trucking experience or three months foodservice or food and beverage truck delivery experience.
• Double Endorsement License required.

Responsibilities

• Operate a tractor-trailer between US FOODS distribution centers and shuttle yards.
• Switch out loaded trailers with empty trailers safely and efficiently.
• Check route numbers and account numbers for all deliveries.
• Move tractor to loading dock to attach pre-loaded trailer and/or second trailer.
• Hook trailers, ensuring all connections are correct.
• Use electronic time keeping system to log time at stop sites.
• Check returns and paperwork on trailers shuttling back to the distribution center.
• Perform safety checks on the truck and trailer.
• Fuel as required and secure tractor and hand truck.
