Job summary

US Foods shuttle truck drivers operate a tractor-trailer between distribution centers and shuttle yards, swapping loaded trailers for empty ones with care and efficiency. You will ensure safe, on-time deliveries and build trusted relationships with customers.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid CDL A with required endorsements and DOT qualification.
• Minimum six months commercial truck driving experience or three months foodservice delivery experience.
• Double Endorsement License required.

Responsibilities

• Check route numbers and account numbers for all deliveries.
• Check customer invoices of product that has been loaded.
• Move tractor to the loading dock to attach pre-loaded trailer and/or second trailer with the dolly.
• Hook trailers carefully, ensuring all connections are correct.
• Perform safety checks on the truck and trailer and log time at stop site.
