Job summary

US Foods is seeking a CDL A Shuttle Driver to deliver a range of foodservice products between dispatch sites. You will uphold safety standards, inspect equipment, and adapt to backhaul or delivery roles as required.

The role emphasizes accuracy, reliability, and customer service in a fast-paced food distribution environment. The position requires a valid CDL Class A with endorsements, 6 months of CDL experience, and the ability to work overnight.

Qualifications

• Must have CDL Class A issued by the state with endorsements and DOT qualifications.
• 6 months of commercial driving experience required.
• Doubles endorsement required and 6+ months driving with doubles preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must be able to read/communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Safe Driving: transport products between dispatch sites safely and efficiently.
• Team Up: handle backhaul or delivery roles as needed.
• Equipment Inspection: perform pre- and post-trip inspections to uphold safety standards.
• Inspect and Confirm: verify freight, trailer temperatures and all details.
• Adaptability: perform other duties as assigned by management.
