Job summary

Cheney Brothers is hiring a Shuttle Driver to transport empty trailers to warehouse locations and deliver full trailers to domicile/shuttle yards, on a 3rd shift schedule. You will operate tractor/trailer combinations across intrastate and interstate routes with emphasis on safety and DOT compliance.

The role requires a valid CDL A with Doubles Endorsement, a clean MVR, and the ability to lift and move freight up to 90 pounds. Join a team that values safety, reliability, and customer service.

Qualifications

• 12+ months of commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL A with Doubles Endorsement and clean MVR.
• High school diploma or GED; 21+ years old.
• Must meet state licensing and DOT health requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform safety checks pre/post trip per DOT rules.
• Drive and deliver trailers on predetermined routes.
• Hook/unhook trailers following safety guidelines.
• Park and store tractors; secure all freight.
• Complete hours-of-service logs and required paperwork.
• Report safety issues and assist with routine maintenance.
