Job summary

Cheney Brothers is seeking a Shuttle Driver to support our logistics network. You will transport empty trailers to warehouse locations and deliver full trailers to domicile/shuttle yards, following DOT regulations and safety guidelines. The role requires a valid CDL A, 1+ year of experience, and a DOT Health Card.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1 year or more commercial driving experience.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Pass pre-employment drug test and road test.
• DOT Health Card or able to secure new one.
• Able to lift 60–90 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Inspect tractor/trailer per DOT regulations; report safety issues.
• Drive and deliver trailers according to schedule.
• Unloads and secures freight; complete paperwork.
• Maintain daily hours-of-service log.
• Perform general housekeeping in tractor and dock area.
