Ben E. Keith Company is seeking a Shuttle Driver to transport loaded trailers and return empties for reloading while adhering to DOT regulations. The role emphasizes safety, on-time deliveries, and professional conduct with customers and vendors.

The position requires a Class A CDL with at least one year of experience and endorsements, with a preference for those having additional qualifications and a clean driving record. This role offers stability, growth, and a safety‑driven culture.

Qualifications

• Must have Double/Triple endorsements with 1-year experience required.
• Must have valid Class A CDL with 1-year experience required.
• DOT qualified with clean driving record; pass DOT physical, drug screen, background.
• At least one year of commercial driving experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED preferred; experience may substitute.
• Ability to operate tractors with 28', 36', and 48' trailers.

Responsibilities

• Transport loaded trailers from the branch to designated shuttle locations.
• Return empty trailers to the branch for reloading.
• Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles while following all DOT and company regulations.
• Maintain scheduled delivery and pickup times.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Communicate any issues, delays, or safety concerns to management immediately.
• Represent Ben E. Keith professionally with customers, vendors, and fellow team members.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
