Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. is seeking a Shuttle Driver to safely deliver full trailers to the domicile and bring empty trailers back to the Distribution Center. The role emphasizes safety, compliance, and efficient loading procedures.

The position requires a valid CDL-A and at least 1 year or 50,000 miles of driving experience. Expect comprehensive benefits and a focus on home-time and reliability.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid CDL-A license.
• Minimum 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor trailer driving experience.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks.
• Meet McLane's MVR and risk rating qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Deliver full trailers to the domicile.
• Retrieve empty trailers back to the Distribution Center.
• Inspect the rig for defects pre- and post-trip and submit DOT inspection report.
• Ensure product is secured inside the trailer for undamaged transport.
• Maintain driver log (Manual or PeopleNet) according to DOT regulations.
• May perform line haul and/or backhaul as needed.
• Work safely to prevent injury to people and damage to products.
