Job summary

Performance Food Group is hiring a Shuttle Driver to move trailers between our warehouse locations and shuttle yards. You will operate tandem or tractor trailers on intrastate and interstate routes, perform safety checks, and ensure DOT compliance.

The role is Sunday to Thursday, 7pm until completion, with a $65,000 annual pay and benefits from Day 1, including health, 401(k) matching, education assistance, and PTO. Doubles endorsement is required.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL A with Doubles Endorsement.
• Must be 21 years of age and meet state licensing requirements.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Pass pre-employment drug test and road test.
• Valid DOT Health Card or able to secure one.
• Able to lift 60–90 pounds and operate equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Performs safety checks pre/post trip and DOT inspections.
• Drives and delivers trailers per route schedule; hooks/unhooks per guidelines.
• Ensures all paperwork is complete and accurate for dispatch.
• Maintains cleanliness and security of tractor and trailer.
• Records hours of service as required by DOT and company policy.
