Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a Shuttle Driver in South Holland, IL to transport empty trailers to operating locations and deliver full trailers to domicile/shuttle yards. You will handle tandem/tractor trailers on both intrastate and interstate routes, adhering to DOT rules and safety standards.

Strong communication with customers and team members is essential. The role requires a valid CDL A with Doubles Endorsement, at least 1 year of driving experience, and the ability to lift 60–90

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 12 months of commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL A with Doubles Endorsement.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Meet all state licensing/certification requirements where applicable.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Pass pre-employment drug test and road test.
• Valid current DOT Health Card or able to obtain it.
• Able to lift 60–90 lb and move freight with equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform safety checks (pre/post trip) per DOT regulations.
• Follow DOT regulations and company safety guidelines; report hazards.
• Drive and deliver trailers according to schedule; secure freight.
• Complete daily hours-of-service logs.
• Keep trailers clean and organized; assist with other duties as assigned.
