Job summary

NIS Express is hiring in Bend, OR for CDL-A drivers with training on the road. You’ll ride with an experienced trainer, earn weekly during training, and move to solo status on full pay after approval.

A guaranteed $1,000/week for the first 3 months supports your start, with weekly pay and weekly earnings potential as you gain experience. Expect dry van loads across western states, about 2,000 miles weekly, and home every two weeks.

Qualifications

• CDL-A, 21 years or older.
• Completed 120+ hours at an accredited CDL school.
• Live within 200 miles of Troutdale, OR.
• No more than 2 moving violations in 2 years.
• Able to pass a DOT physical and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Dry van freight across the western states, west of the Mississippi.
• Approximately 2,000 miles per week.
• Home every 2 weeks.
• Day and night dispatch, weekend driving expected.

Have your CDL-A but no driving experience yet? This is where you start. Bend area drivers are joining a western regional fleet that trains new CDL holders on the road, pays them every week while they learn, and backs their first months solo with a guaranteed check.

How You Start

• Ride with an experienced driver trainer on real loads
• Paid every week during training
• Move into your own truck on full pay once your trainer signs off
• $1,000 per week guaranteed for your first 3 months of solo driving

The Job

• Dry van freight across the western states, west of the Mississippi
• Around 2,000 miles per week
• Home every 2 weeks
• Day and night dispatch, weekend driving expected

Pay

• Average weekly earnings of $1,500
• Starting rate of 50 cents per mile
• $15 stop pay
• Monthly driver performance bonus
