Job summary

NIS EXPRESS is recruiting new CDL-A graduates for a hands-on training program focusing on real routes and practical skills. Trainees ride with an experienced trainer for 4 to 6 weeks, then transition to solo driving with retained pay while becoming fully independent.

Benefits include weekly guaranteed pay during training, and home time after milestones as you progress toward solo earnings. Equipment is modern and routes are set east of I-35 with no NYC trips.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL-A and at least 21 years old.
• 120+ hours completed at an accredited CDL school.
• Stable work history and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Learn trip planning, backing and maneuvering, and drop and hook procedures.
• Meet dispatch and follow instructions on loads and routes.
• Transition from training to solo driver with guaranteed pay during ramp-up.
