Job summary

Republic Services, Inc. seeks a CDL‑A Driver to safely operate heavy commercial trucks for timely delivery and removal of large containers. You will perform pre- and post-trip inspections, ensure compliance with safety standards, and document vehicle condition daily.

The role emphasizes customer service on routes, coordination with dispatch, minimal on-site repairs, and adherence to company policies. Two years of driving experience preferred; air brakes endorsement required.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete pre- and post-operation vehicle inspections.
• Safely operate heavy truck along designated routes to service customers.
• Load/unload/compact waste and dispose at designated facility.
• Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers and staff daily.
• Perform minor repairs to containers on site or in yard.
• Identify unsatisfactory waste containers and tag as required.
• Monitor waste quality and vehicle condition at all times.
• Maintain productivity reports and route sheets as required.
• Follow safety policies and participate in ReSOP program.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
