Liberty Tire Recycling in Scott, LA seeks a CDL A Route Driver to safely pickup, load, transport, and deliver used tires along assigned routes. You will operate as part of a two- or three-person team, manage loads, and complete required paperwork using handheld devices.

Qualifications

Minimum age of 22 years old.
Valid Class A CDL and FMCSA requirements.
Acceptable DOT motor vehicle record.
Minimum of 1 year of commercial driving experience or equivalent Class A CDL driving experience.
Ability to meet DOT physical, background, and drug/alcohol testing requirements.
Maintain professional appearance and conduct at customer locations.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle on assigned routes to remove used tires from customer locations.
Work as part of a two- or three-person team to load, stack, and secure tires onto the truck.
Manually handle and stack tires weighing up to 100 pounds while maintaining ergonomic lifting techniques.
Serve as the primary point of contact at customer locations and complete all required service documentation.
Ensure loads are properly stacked, secured, and compliant with DOT safety requirements before transport.
Conduct pre-trip, post-trip, and en-route inspections; complete DVIRs and report safety concerns.
