Job summary

HP Hood is seeking a Conventional Route Driver to join our team. A current CDL A, clean MVR, up-to-date medical card, and at least one year of driving experience are required. You must maintain a professional appearance and pass a DOT exam.

The role offers a 4-day work week with Sat/Sun off and one rotating day off, emphasizing safe vehicle operation and timely product delivery while upholding HP Hood's standards.

Qualifications

• Current valid CDL A, satisfactory MVR, and up-to-date medical card.
• One year of driving experience or equivalent classroom qualification.
• Neat, clean appearance and ability to pass a DOT exam.

Responsibilities

• Operate the company vehicle safely and in compliance with all regulations.
• Be familiar with the delivery route and product handling requirements.
• Represent HP Hood in a courteous, ethical, professional manner.
• Maintain a vehicle operation log and report maintenance as required by DOT and HP Hood.
• Deliver products on time and communicate recommendations for improvements daily.
• Keep accurate daily records of accounts and cash collected.
• Work independently while supporting the Distribution department.
• Collaborate with managers, supervisors, and peers.
