Job summary

HP Hood is seeking a route jumper driver to join our distribution team. You will operate the company vehicle, delivering products on a 4-day work week with Sundays off and a $10,000 sign-on bonus.

A valid CDL A, clean MVR, and DOT medical card are required, with one year of driving experience or equivalent qualifications. The role emphasizes safety, accurate logging, and professional representation of the company.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CDL A license.
• MVR must meet company and regulatory standards.
• Must be able to pass a DOT physical exam.
• One year of driving experience or equivalent qualification.

Responsibilities

• Operate the company vehicle safely and in compliance with all regulations.
• Know and follow the assigned delivery route and product handling requirements.
• Represent HP Hood in a courteous, ethical, and professional manner.
• Maintain a daily vehicle operation log and report maintenance or DOT issues to the Distribution supervisor.
• Deliver products on time and report any improvements or problems to the supervisor daily.
• Keep accurate daily cash records for deliveries when applicable.
• Work independently while supporting the Distribution department and coordinate with managers and peers.
