Job summary

Ben E. Keith Company is hiring a delivery driver to perform route deliveries across our Food and Beverage distribution network.

You will inspect vehicles, assemble orders, and ensure timely, accurate deliveries to customer locations while maintaining safety and regulatory compliance. The role requires a valid Class A CDL, at least one year of route experience, and strong communication skills to coordinate with customers and supervisors.

Qualifications

• Must know and adhere to Department of Transportation and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
• At least 1 year of route driving experience required
• DOT certification required
• Valid State Class A CDL license required in state of residence
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Basic math skills required
• Strong interpersonal skills with multiple levels of organization
• Self-motivated; customer-focused
• Detail-oriented; prioritization; Independent thinking/decision-making

Responsibilities

• Perform product deliveries along assigned routes and other related duties to guarantee customer satisfaction.
• Inspect vehicle equipment and supplies and request service and repairs as needed.
• Assemble orders for timely delivery to customer businesses and ensure accurate delivery windows.
• Place delivered products in assigned storage locations according to customer requests.
• Maintain accuracy of delivered product with no damage due to mishandling.
• Read maps and follow written and verbal geographic directions.
• Manage multiple assignments and tasks with efficient use of time and resources.
• Complete administrative tasks and related paperwork to guarantee efficiency of transportation operations.
