Job summary

Ben E. Keith is seeking a route-driven driver to perform deliveries across assigned routes and ensure timely customer service. The role requires a valid Class A CDL and DOT compliance with strong communication and record-keeping skills.

Qualifications

• Must know and adhere to DOT and FMCSR.
• At least 1 year of route driving experience required.
• DOT certification required.
• Valid State Class A CDL license required in state of residence.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform product deliveries along assigned routes.
• Inspect vehicle equipment and supplies, such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water.
• Assemble orders for timely delivery to customer businesses.
• Place delivered products in storage locations per customer requests.
• Maintain accuracy of delivered product with no damage due to mishandling.
• Complete administrative tasks and related paperwork for transportation operations.
• Review customer invoices to determine items to be moved and delivered.
