Job summary

HP Hood LLC. is seeking a Conventional Route Driver in Maine. A valid CDL A, current medical card, clean MVR, and at least one year of driving experience are required. The role offers a 4-day work week with Sat/Sun off and one rotating day off.

You will safely operate the vehicle, know the route, represent the company professionally, maintain logs, deliver products on time, and keep cash records. Compensation varies by location and experience; HP Hood is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CDL A with a satisfactory MVR.
• Must have a current medical card.
• One year driving experience or equivalent classroom qualification.
• Must have neat, clean appearance and pass a DOT exam.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicle safely and in compliance with regulations.
• Be familiar with the delivery route and product handling requirements.
• Represent the company in a courteous, professional manner.
• Maintain vehicle operation logs and report maintenance to supervisor.
• Deliver products in a timely manner and communicate improvements or issues daily.
• Keep daily records of accounts and collected cash.
• Work independently while supporting the Distribution department.
• Collaborate with managers and peers to achieve goals.
