Job summary

Lever, Inc. is seeking a Class A CDL Operator to support railroad rerailing and emergency response operations in Richmond, VA. This hands-on role involves driving, heavy equipment operation, and field labor at active job sites.

You will perform inspections per DOT regulations, transport equipment, and assist with cranes, rigging, and track maintenance. 24/7 on-call availability, including weekends/holidays, is required.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record.
• Willingness to work extended hours with 60+ weekly hours and overtime.
• Ability to perform physically demanding field labor safely.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of trucks, trailers, and equipment.
• Transport equipment and materials to and from job sites, including overweight/oversize loads.
• Inspect loads and verify required transportation permits.
• Participate in daily job planning and safety meetings.
