Qualdoc in Kansas City, MO is seeking a Class A CDL Driver/Operator to support railroad derailment response and related operations in the Kansas City region. This role involves much more than driving.

You will transport and operate equipment, assist with rerailing and track maintenance, perform minor repairs, and support emergency response operations. Driving makes up approximately 10% of the job, and the position requires a 24/7 on-call schedule.

Qualifikationen

• Must hold a valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record.
• Basic mechanical skills for minor repairs.
• Experience in construction labor or similar physically demanding work.
• Able to work 24/7, including weekends and holidays.
• Must pass pre-employment tests and safety programs.

Aufgaben

• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trucks and equipment.
• Drive tractor-trailers to job sites and inspect loads.
• Assist with rerailing work and track maintenance.
• Operate cranes, backhoes, and other equipment when qualified.
• Follow safety policies and maintain organized work areas.
• Report mechanical issues to supervisor.
