NIS EXPRESS is seeking drivers for a Houston regional account, offering steady freight, growing pay, and two-week home time. Responsibilities

• Operate Houston regional freight across TX, OK, LA, MS, AR, TN, AL, KS, MO, IA and IL.
• Travel 1,700–2,000 miles weekly with live load/unload and drop-and-hook.
• Maintain safe driving practices and uphold company policies.

Job description

Houston drivers on this regional account don't have to choose between good pay and actually seeing their family. Whether you're brand new to trucking or already running solo, the seat works the same way for everyone: steady freight, growing pay, and two weeks that end at your own front door.

Pay

• Mileage pay by experience level, regular OTR pay package
• Average weekly earnings of $1,200 to $1,450
• Guaranteed pay for your first 3 months after your first solo dispatch
• Performance bonus paid on miles, fuel, and safety
• $15 stop pay
• Trainee pay of $850 per week during training

• Paid one-on-one OTR training with an experienced mentor
• Immediate upgrade to full solo mileage rate once training is complete
• Only requirement to start: 120+ hours at an accredited CDL training school

Route & Freight

• Houston regional freight across TX, OK, LA, MS, AR, TN, AL, KS, MO, IA, and IL
• 1,700 to 2,000 miles weekly
• Live load, live unload, preload, and drop and hook

Home Time & Schedule

• Home every two weeks
• Day and night dispatch
• Weekend work expected, some customers require holiday work, regular time off requests honored
• Varied customers, not a dedicated account

Qualifications

• New CDL-A holders welcome, or 6+ months of verifiable solo experience
• Team drivers welcome
• Valid Class A CDL and current DOT medical card, 21 years or older
• Clean MVR and background check
• Must pass hair and urine drug testing
