Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a CDL-A Delivery Driver in Harrisburg, PA area to operate tractor-trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate routes, with overnight deliveries and hotel layovers. Training pay of $1,500 per week, then average annual earnings around $100,000, plus a sign-on bonus up to $10,000 with 1+ year of experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6+ months commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL-A license.
• Must be 21+ years of age.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Pass post-offer drug test and road test.
• DOT Health Card current or able to secure one.
• Ability to lift/move freight up to 60–90 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Communicates professionally with customers, vendors and co-workers.
• Drive tractor trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate routes.
• Perform safety checks before/after trips per DOT regulations.
• Deliver orders, obtain signatures and collect payments when required.
• Unload freight and keep work areas clean and organized.
• Complete required paperwork accurately.
