American Driver LLC is hiring for OTR truck driving roles around Pendleton, IN and the northeast Indianapolis area. Drivers earn weekly pay between $1,200 and $1,800 and are home every two weeks. Training and orientation details are provided for new CDL graduates and experienced drivers.
New solo drivers receive a $1,000 weekly guarantee for the first 3 months, with a $650 training pay period and $75 per mile for short runs. Medical, dental, vision, 401(k) and other benefits begin after 30 days.
OTR miles without OTR distance. This fleet runs like over-the-road work, with big weekly miles and big checks, but it never puts you more than about two days from home. No loads west of Denver, and no trips into New York or New England. Drivers on this fleet earn $1,200 to $1,800 a week and are home every two weeks. We are hiring around Pendleton, Anderson, Fortville and the northeast Indianapolis area, from new CDL graduates to seasoned drivers.
Why the checks are bigger
The map
Twenty-seven states from Colorado east, from the Great Lakes to the Gulf. Freight is dry van, with drop and hook, preloaded trailers and live loads. There is no set lane, so the work stays varied, but dispatch keeps you within reach of home.
New CDL holders
Training pay is $650 a week. You spend 3 to 5 weeks, about 200 to 250 hours, learning beside an experienced mentor. You need a completed truck driving school of at least 120 hours. After sign-off you get your own tractor.
Experienced drivers
Six months or more of recent tractor-trailer experience gets you straight into a solo truck after orientation. Your mileage rate follows your verified experience. Team seats are open for drivers who run with a partner.
Orientation and travel
Orientation lasts two days or less and pays $300 once you are hired. Bus fare to orientation is reimbursed with a receipt.
