Job summary

Fastenal is hiring an Over the Road Driver (DOT-CDL) Class A in Jessup, PA 18434. This full-time position delivers to distribution centers and customer sites using late-model tractors, with routes that may include interstate travel.

Responsibilities include prompt delivery, scanning deliveries, unloading as needed, and coordinating with shipping/receiving to ensure accuracy. Candidates must hold a Class A CDL, Health Card, HazMat endorsement if applicable, and pass pre-employment screenings.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A license required or in progress.
• Health Card required or ability to obtain.
• Haz Mat endorsement or ability to obtain.
• Meet Fastenal driving record requirements.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and Hours of Service.
• Lift up to 60 lbs and maneuver up to 150 lbs.
• Pass pre-employment screens and background checks.
• Willingness to travel and drive interstate routes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver to branches and customer sites in a prompt, safe manner.
• Operate a safe, well-maintained tractor trailer or straight truck.
• Use a handheld scanner for deliveries and updates.
• Unload product from trucks via hand, pallet jack, or forklift.
• Coordinate with shipping and receiving for accuracy and timing.
• Maintain clean equipment and comply with safety rules.
• Adhere to DOT safety regulations and company policies.
• Support health, safety and sustainability initiatives.
