Job summary

Fastenal Co. is hiring a Full-time Driver (DOT-Class A or Class B CDL) at the TX100 Distribution Center in Denton, TX. You will deliver from Fastenal distribution centers to branches and on-site customer locations, unload at stops, and maintain safety and vehicle standards.

Expect a team-oriented environment with route management, handheld scanner use, and adherence to DOT regulations. This role requires strong communication, physical capability to lift up to 60 lbs and handle up to 150 lbs, and

Qualifications

• Excellent written and oral communication.
• Possess or are in progress of obtaining a Class A or Class B CDL.
• Health Card current or ability to obtain one.
• HazMat endorsement current or ability to obtain one (US, PR, GU).
• Meet Fastenal driving record requirements.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations for CDL drivers.
• DOT Hours-of-Service compliance.
• Willingness to drive interstate routes across state lines.

• Lift up to 60 lbs and maneuver up to 150 lbs.
• Pass DOT drug and alcohol screens, road test, background check.

Responsibilities

• Operate a handheld scanner.
• Unload product from trucks by hand, pallet jack, or forklift.
• Deliver to branches and customers promptly and efficiently.
• Interact with shipping and receiving departments.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area and equipment.
• Inspect and report defects or issues in equipment.
• Comply with DOT and Fastenal safety regulations.
• Follow health, safety and sustainability rules and expectations.
