Job summary

Fastenal Co. Edwardsville, KS is seeking a Full-time Driver (DOT - CDL) Class A to support our distribution network.

You will operate a late-model tractor trailer or straight truck, deliver to branches and on-site customer locations, unload at each stop, and maintain safe, compliant operations. The role requires CDL Class A, health card, HazMat endorsement, knowledge of DOT hours-of-service, and willingness to run interstate routes.

Qualifications

• Possess or are in progress of obtaining a Class A CDL.
• Health card current or ability to obtain one.
• HazMat endorsement or ability to obtain one (USA/PR/Guam).
• Strong communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and Hours-of-Service.
• Willingness to drive interstate routes.

Responsibilities

• Unload product from trucks by hand, pallet jack or forklift.
• Deliver to branches and customer on-site locations promptly.
• Use handheld scanner for loads and routes.
• Maintain truck and work area cleanliness and safety.
• Communicate with shipping/receiving and adhere to DOT safety rules.
• Report defects and participate in safety trainings.
