Albany Trucking in Birmingham, AL is seeking CDL-A truck drivers for regional no-touch freight with weekly home time and a steady schedule. You’ll operate primarily east of I-35 with Midwest coverage, and you’ll work with a fleet of late-model trucks.

Trucks are 2021–2024 Peterbilt 579 Ultralofts; orientation lasts 3 days with provided transportation, hotel, and meals. A comprehensive benefits package and company match 401K are offered.

Albany Trucking is hiring CDL-A truck drivers for regional no-touch freight operations with weekly home time, dependable scheduling, and late-model equipment.

Home Time: Home weekly with consistent scheduling. Drivers primarily operate throughout the Midwest and east of I-35, with additional freight occasionally covering other areas as needed. No forced dispatch into NYC or the five boroughs.

The no-touch freight setup allows drivers to focus on driving while maintaining productive miles throughout the week. Regional freight provides consistent work while supporting dependable home time, with drivers returning home weekly.

Drivers have consistent communication with dispatch throughout the week while running no-touch freight across the operating area.

Equipment: Drivers primarily operate 2021-2024 Peterbilt 579 Ultralofts. Trucks are equipped with APUs, refrigerators, and power inverters for added comfort on the road. Equipment is governed at 70 MPH and features outward-facing cameras only. Albany Trucking works to provide reliable equipment designed for long-haul comfort and operational consistency.

Driver Orientation

• Orientation lasts 3 days with classes starting Monday or Wednesday.
• Transportation, hotel accommodations, and meals are provided during orientation.
• Drivers receive $375 orientation pay before being assigned their truck and first load.

Orientation is designed to prepare drivers for dispatch procedures, company expectations, and day-to-day operations before hitting the road.
