Job summary

4th Day Trucking is seeking a CDL-A Local Driver for the Chiquita account to haul 40-foot containers between the Port of Wilmington, local yard, and a distribution center. You will enjoy home daily schedules with no-touch freight on consistent local routes.

Starting pay includes $26/hour with annual increases, plus $1,500 guaranteed weekly pay during the first 30 days. A $500 New Hire Transition Bonus and a $3,000 referral bonus are offered, with orientation pay of $250 per day.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• Minimum 6 months of recent tractor-trailer experience.
• Minimum 21 years of age.
• TWIC card is required.
• Must pass a comprehensive drug test.

Responsibilities

• Haul 40-foot containers, primarily banana freight.
• Shuttle loads between Port of Wilmington, local yard, and distribution center.
• Operate within a 15-mile radius of the port.
• No-touch freight on dedicated local routes.
• Account support and instruction provided for container operations.
