Job summary

Herman N Logistics is seeking a CDL-A Local Driver for the Chiquita Account. You will haul 40-foot containers between the Port of Wilmington, the local yard, and a distribution center, with home daily schedules and no-touch freight.

Expect morning starts and consistent local routes within a 15-mile port radius. Requirements include a valid CDL-A, minimum 6 months tractor-trailer experience, a TWIC card, and DOT qualification compliance.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• Minimum 6 months of tractor-trailer experience.
• Valid TWIC card is required.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Haul 40-foot containers, primarily banana freight.
• Shuttle loads between port, yard and distribution center.
• Operate within a 15-mile radius of the port.
• No-touch freight with consistent local routes.
