Job summary

Oak Harbor Freight Lines in Hercules, CA, is hiring local P&D drivers to move freight between terminals and meet points. Join our team to leverage a 107-year legacy with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

You must be 21+, hold a Class A CDL with Hazmat, Tanker, and Double/Triples endorsements, and have at least one year of verifiable commercial driving experience. We offer a 401(k) match, PTO, holiday pay, and a cell phone stipend.

• Doubles/triples & chaining experience is preferred but not required.
• Valid DOT Medical Certification.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate tractor-trailer combinations between terminals or meet points.
• Adapt to inclement weather and various road conditions.
• Meet the Company’s reliability standards for employees.
• Ability to chain as needed and work in inclement weather.
• Availability to work weekends and/or nights if needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Competitive Pay:

• Experienced drivers may earn up to $35.20/hour.

Responsibilities:

Requirements:

• At least 21 years old
• Class A CDL with Hazmat, Tanker, and Double/Triples endorsements.
• At least one year of verifiable commercial driving experience with similar equipment.
• Doubles/triples & chaining experience is preferred but not required.
• Valid DOT Medical Certification.
• Must have a clean driving record. No DUI, reckless driving, or positive drug/alcohol screen in the last 3 years.
• Ability to effectively communicate with customers, co-workers, and dispatch/managers.
• Basic English proficiency in reading, writing and verbal communication.
