Job summary

TAS Energy Inc., a Houston-headquartered company, seeks a Class A Driver to operate a 1-ton truck with a gooseneck trailer for local pickups, transports, and deliveries across TAS facilities and vendor sites in the greater Houston area. You will perform inspections, handle loading/unloading, and support logistics teams to maintain safety and compliance.

The role requires a valid CDL-A, 3+ years of CMV experience, and strong knowledge of DOT/TXDOT rules.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record.
• 3+ years experience operating CMV, preferably with a flatbed.
• Knowledge of USDOT and TXDOT requirements.
• Experience with dry-van trailers and oversized freight is preferred.
• Ability to read and follow transport paperwork and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate a 1-ton truck with gooseneck trailer to pick up, transport, and deliver materials in the Houston area.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; verify items and manage basic repairs.
• Load/unload manually or with equipment; ensure safe handling and packaging.
• Maintain DOT compliant driver files and assist logistics as needed.
• Ensure safety, compliance, and professionalism in all duties.
