Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of Class A CDL driving experience in heavy haul or oversize freight.
• Strong knowledge of DOT/FMCSA safety regulations and load securement standards.
• Ability to plan routes, manage permits, and coordinate with logistics and escort services.
• Proficiency with GPS route planning and fleet management tools (e.g., Samsara).
• Excellent documentation, safety, and customer-service-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and ensure DOT-compliant operation of tractors and trailers.
• Safely load, secure, and transport oversize and overweight freight to TAS facilities and project sites.
• Maintain driver files, logs, and ELD entries; participate in safety meetings and audits.
• Collaborate with Logistics and EHS to improve DOT/TXDOT compliance programs.
• Travel as needed for long-distance hauls, including overnight stays.
