Job summary

Turbine Air Systems, Ltd. is seeking an experienced Logistics Driver (Class A) to operate a 1-ton truck with a gooseneck trailer in the greater Houston area. The role involves loading, unloading, securing cargo, and coordinating with warehouses and vendors to ensure timely delivery.

The position requires 3+ years of CMV experience, a clean driving record, and knowledge of USDOT regulations. Priority will be given to candidates with flatbed experience and forklift skills.

Qualifications

• Must have valid Class A CDL and clean driving record.
• 3+ years CMV experience, preferably with flatbed.
• Experience with oversize/overweight freight and load securement.
• Knowledge of USDOT requirements and routing.

Responsibilities

• Performs pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safe operation of truck and trailer.
• Loads and unloads truck by hand, forklift, or other equipment; ensures proper securing of freight.
• Sets up and maintains DOT compliant driver files; conducts road tests for perspective TAS drivers.
• Assists warehouse with transactions as needed and available; coordinates with Logistics.
• Other duties as assigned by TAS that support safe and efficient operations.
