Job summary

JR Automation Technologies, LLC (a Hitachi Group Company) seeks a Logistics Crew Driver for our Holland, Michigan facility. You will safely operate company trucks and hi-lo trucks, perform pre/post-trip inspections, verify shipments, and support shipping, receiving, and inventory control.

This onsite role requires a Class A CDL with Air Brake endorsement, a valid Michigan license, and at least 1 year in logistics or warehousing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• 1 year of experience in logistics, transportation, warehousing, shipping/receiving, or related field preferred.
• Valid Michigan driver’s license with clean record.
• Must possess and maintain a valid Class A CDL with Air Brake endorsement.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification preferred.
• Knowledge of transportation, shipping, and receiving processes.
• Ability to safely operate trucks, trailers, forklifts, and material handling equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and inventory verification.
• Ability to read maps, routing instructions, shipping paperwork, and delivery schedules.
• Effective communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with team members.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vehicles, including trucks and trailers, following traffic laws and DOT requirements.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and monitor vehicle condition.
• Load, unload, transport, and secure materials, equipment, and products.
• Verify shipments against purchase orders and shipping documents.
• Maintain transportation logs, delivery documentation, receipts, and proof-of-delivery records.
• Receive incoming materials and verify quantities and condition.
• Operate forklifts (hi-lo) safely and efficiently.
• Support shipping, receiving, inventory control, and warehouse organization.
• Coordinate with suppliers, customers, and internal teams to support delivery schedules.
• Follow maps and delivery schedules to ensure timely transportation.
