Job summary

JK Moving Services seeks a professional truck driver to transport household goods from origin to destination in a local/short-haul setting. You will inspect trucks, maintain logs, and manage loading crews while ensuring safety and compliance with FMCSA, OSHA, and company policies.

Applicants should have a Class A CDL, 1+ year of commercial driving experience, and prior moving or furniture delivery exposure. DOT physical is required for eligibility; leadership experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Active Class A CDL required.
• 1+ year of experience driving with a commercial license.
• Prior moving/storage or furniture delivery experience is a plus.
• Experience as a crew leader or supervisor is desirable.
• Must pass a DOT physical.

Responsibilities

• Transport household goods from origin to destination.
• Inspect truck for defects before and after trips and report condition.
• Maintain clean, safe, operating condition of vehicles and equipment.
• Maintain driver logs according to FMCSA regulations.
• Manage workers in loading and unloading goods, material, and equipment.
• Adhere to all safety, OSHA, and DOT regulations.
